Here is what we require to fulfill your belt order
1. YOUR WAIST SIZE - GIVE US A NUMBER
THE MORE INFORMATION YOU CAN SUPPLY TO GET THE CORRECT BELT SIZE, THE BETTER
PANT’S WAIST SIZE
Please supply us with the normal pants waist size that you wear, eg: 36. This will not be the same as the physical dimension described below. Your pants waist size is likely smaller than the dimension determined by the methods below.
BELT or WAIST MEASUREMENT
This measurement can be generated in one of two ways:
A) You may refer to the picture at the right. Utilizing a belt you have, measure from the inside edge of the buckle, where it does up. Followed by the dimension to the hole which you most commonly wear your belt.
B) Alternatively, or better yet supplementaly, your waist size as measured through the belt loops while wearing your pants, measured with a soft, tailors, measuring tape. In other words, put the tailors tape on as if it were your belt, tighten to what feels good, voila.
The belt will be made to fit on the middle of five holes for the dimension you supply (as pointed out in the photo). THIS IS NOT YOUR PANTS WAIST SIZE, as your belt fits outside of your garments (and long underwear most of the year if you live where I do ;-).
2. STYLE AND COLOUR
We currently offer 3 styles.
1. Our “Classic” available in Foxwood, Chestnut, or Black.
And the two new models, which are colour specific.
2. The AXEMAN in Rough Out Foxwood.
3. The COUNTRYMAN in Dressed Russet.
3. THE WIDTH
We offer the CLASSIC in widths of 1″, 1 1/4″, 1 1/2″.
1″ for suits and dress attire.
1 1/4″ for casual as well as dress.
1 1/2″ for Jeans and “workier” situations.
These are very general guidelines as our customers seem to be able to pull off any width for any situation, it depends on what feels good for you.
The AXEMAN has a width of 1 1/2″ .
The COUNTRYMAN has a width of 1 1/4″.
4. THREAD COLOUR
We have three colours of thread:
Black, Brown, and Red

5. BUCKLE PREFERENCE
Our standard buckles for 1 1/4″ and 1 1/2″ belts are #49 Roller Buckles. For the 1″ we offer the #4. Both the #4 and #49 are available in Solid Brass or Stainless Steel.
The #49 buckle on the AXEMAN is a special satin/tumbled finish. The Tug Buckle on the COUNTRYMAN is solid brass with a Stainless Steel tongue.

Getting the size just right can sometimes be a a bit tricky, especially if it’s a gift. For most orders of common sized belts, 28 – 44, we will happily exchange at no extra charge, another size to get the fit perfect. If you have any questions regarding exchange, drop us a line.
